Miyajima
Congratulations to all who competed in the Miyajima Cross Country Race at the weekend. The conditions were perfect for running and the leaves were still out.
I missed it, but Matt and Emily Smith did a speech during the opening ceremony. It was nice as this will be their last run in Hiroshima before they move to Australia. I wish them all the very best.

Did anyone see the Chugoku SHimbun on monday? Krashen and I were in the picture about the race and Sam and all the podium girls and boys were mentioned in the description too! Well done everyone!
I found it (as always) a hard race- well done to Krashen for it being her first ever 10 km! But it is always so beautiful and such an oxygen boost- lets try to get even more women there to enjoy it next year too! The onsen afterward is always a lovely treat too- don't miss out, we will try to link to where to sign up when entry time comes around next year.
